How the benchmark is calculated
Each annual total uses one formula: advertised monthly seat price for annual billing × number of users × 12 months. We record the public USD price, plan name, billing basis, check date, and official source URL. A mechanical validation checks every five-, ten-, and twenty-user total against the recorded seat price before publication.
What the dataset includes
The current release covers five clearly priced CRM editions aimed at small or growing teams: HubSpot Starter, Freshsales Growth, monday CRM Basic, Pipedrive Lite, and Zoho CRM Professional. They are not treated as feature-equivalent products. The purpose is to provide a transparent cost baseline that can be reproduced without a sales call.
What the dataset excludes
Totals exclude taxes, currency conversion, onboarding, migration, configuration, training, internal labor, optional add-ons, contact tiers, email and calling usage, AI credits, storage, support, and negotiated discounts. Promotions can end without notice. Buyers should use the benchmark to frame a budget, then confirm a dated vendor quote.
